Akari Kanzaki shows up at an all-girls sports academy with one goal: get into the University Satellite and take the Cosmo Beauty crown her mother once wore. Her mom was the best athlete Earth ever produced, a record-breaking legend. Akari? She hides in a cardboard box. It has a name scrawled on the side. Akari's House. That box is where she goes when the fear wins. And it wins a lot at first. Doubt, pressure, girls who are faster and stronger and meaner. But something shifts. Friends start pulling for her. Rivals push her harder than any coach could. Even strangers in the stands want to see her make it. To reach the Orbital University she has to survive graduation trials against the best athletes on the planet, and only the top three get through. So can a girl who still keeps a cardboard box within arm's reach really stand where her mother stood?
