Makoto Konno has no idea what to do after graduation. Teachers keep pushing, her friends keep joking around, and she mostly just wants the days to stay exactly as they are. Then one evening she pedals her bike straight into a moving train. Except she doesn't. One second she's flying through the air, the next she's back on the ground a few minutes earlier, heart pounding, knees scraped, completely fine. So she starts using it. Small stuff at first. Sleeping in, rewinding an awkward moment, grabbing that pudding before her sister does. Nothing big, nothing that matters. That's what she tells herself, anyway. Then people around her start getting hurt in ways she can't rewind, and every fix she tries only seems to make things worse. Somewhere in there is a boy who knows more than he's letting on, and a truth Makoto keeps running from. If you could go back and undo your worst mistake, knowing it might cost someone else everything, would you still do it?
