Hiyori Hayama came to Tokyo with one thing on her mind: singing on a real stage, the way her favorite artist does. Then the auditions started. One rejection after another, songs nobody buys, and somehow she is still standing at the starting line. So she takes the only door left open. Extreme Hearts is a hyper sports tournament where competitors strap on gear that boosts their bodies and fight through sport after sport for a shot at a breakthrough. Hiyori can run and jump just fine. The problem is she has never done any of this before. Then she meets girls who have, and they build a team around her, Team RISE, all of them pushing to get her to the top. Only there is a rule nobody says out loud: everyone in this tournament is an entertainer or wants to be one. Between the matches, her teammates start finding things they never knew they wanted, and friendships form that go way past the scoreboard. Can a girl who only knows how to sing survive a competition where you have to be everything at once?
