Summer Days with Coo

Kappa no Coo to Natsuyasumi · 河童のクゥと夏休み
AdventureSupernatural2007Shin-Ei AnimationRating 7,56+HD

A fourth grader named Kouichi is poking around the outskirts of Tokyo when he digs up a big stone. It isn't a stone. Inside sleeps a baby kappa, buried for three hundred years, and when it wakes up Kouichi gives it a name: Coo. Soon the creature is padding around the house, stealing cucumbers, and becoming part of the family like some weird little brother. Then the trouble starts. Coo can't get used to this world of asphalt and traffic and staring strangers, and the ache for his own kind only gets worse. So Kouichi and his new friend set off on a trip to find other kappas, a search that turns into something much bigger and stranger than either of them expected. Will Coo ever find a place where he truly belongs?
