They finally made it to India. After all that walking, all those fights, the Sanzou Party steps onto soil where the minus wave has soaked into everything, and nothing here fights fair. Yokai go berserk at the drop of a hat. Villages empty out overnight. Every stop along the road turns into a brawl before anyone can even ask directions. Then the past catches up. Five hundred years back, something happened to these three, something none of them talk about, and India is exactly where it is waiting for them. The closer they get to the root of the revival experiments, the louder that old tragedy gets, until it is standing right in front of them. They came west to shut down the thing that ruined Shangri-La. Nobody said anything about settling a debt from five centuries ago along the way. Can the three of them outrun a fate that has been patient this long?
