Yukari does everything her parents tell her. School, straight home, repeat. Then a guy with spiky blond hair and a face full of piercings walks up and stares at her body like she's a mannequin. She bolts. Around the corner she runs into a tall woman with purple hair and a flower painted around one eye, and that's when Yukari hits the pavement. She wakes up in a cluttered studio called the Atelier, surrounded by art students from Yazawa Academy who want her to model for their brand, Paradise Kiss. She says no and leaves. Then she realizes her school ID is gone. George, the head designer, finds it and decides she is exactly the face he needs. He doesn't ask twice. He just keeps showing up, certain she belongs to him and to the brand. Yukari never cared about clothes or posing or any of that. But these people burn for what they make, and something in her starts to wonder what she actually wants. She's falling for George too, which might be the most dangerous part. Can she hold on to herself while stepping into his world?
