Haruhi just wanted a quiet room to study in. She found one, pushed the door open, and walked straight into the Host Club: a pack of ridiculously handsome boys whose whole job is charming the girls of Ouran Academy over tea. A scholarship kid at Japan's most elite school, she barely fits in as it is. Then Tamaki, the club's dramatic president, pops up in her face, she flinches, and an eight million yen vase hits the floor in pieces. No money to pay it back. So the boys hand her a uniform and a job: become a Host herself. Here's the thing. Everyone already reads Haruhi as a boy, thanks to the short hair and the plain clothes, and she honestly could not care less. So she pours tea, smiles at nervous girls, and somehow starts outdrawing the professionals. Which means her debt gets paid off once a hundred clients pick her, and the club's five rich eccentrics are now stuck sharing their stage with a natural. Tamaki keeps calling himself her mentor. The twins keep testing her. And Haruhi keeps wondering why any of this is supposed to bother her. So what happens when the club stops being a debt and starts feeling like the only place she belongs?
