October 1941. The world is already tearing itself apart, and then the sky opens. Aliens show up, and nobody on either side of the war bothers to stop fighting long enough to deal with them. The Axis and the Allies keep shelling each other while something far worse lands on their doorstep. What actually holds the line are the Kishin Corps and their Geo-Armor Robots, hulking machines built out of a captured alien soldier. Then a kid named Taishi gets handed a black attaché case by his father, Professor Tokamura, and his whole life tilts sideways. Inside is the control mechanism for one of those giant robots. Suddenly the Japanese Kanto Army, the aliens, and the Kishin Corps are all hunting him for the same damn thing. Spies, soldiers, invaders, walking war machines. Taishi is just trying to stay alive, and everybody wants what he is carrying. The question is not whether he can keep the case out of their hands. It is who he should hand it to, if anyone, before the wrong side gets it and the war stops being about borders at all.
