Tokyo has gotten so dangerous that the government just handed out guns to regular people and called it self-defense. Even the new armed police unit, created to hunt criminals with lethal force, can't keep up. Crime keeps winning anyway. Kyohei Tachibana mostly tries not to think about any of that. Because these four take the worst jobs in the city, the bloody ones nobody else will touch, and Kyohei is suddenly standing in the middle of it, spatula in hand, watching Tokyo come apart around him. Turns out he's going to do a lot more than cook. So who exactly are these girls, and why is a pastry chef the only person they trust to feed them?
