A colony ship called the Mesopotamia breaks apart in deep space. Only six men survive, and they wash up on Terra II, a planet that looks almost exactly like home. No women made the trip. So they split into six countries, clone themselves to keep going, and fill the gaps with androids called Marionettes. Cook, clean, repeat. No feelings, no complaints, no surprises. Then a regular kid named Otaru stumbles onto three battle units that are nothing like the ones in the kitchen. Something inside them, a Maiden Circuit, lets them laugh and get angry and care. He has to raise them, basically, teach them what being alive even means, while a neighboring country starts rolling its army toward his borders. Three emotional war machines, one clueless guy, and a whole planet that has never seen a real woman. Can he keep his country standing and still figure out what these three are becoming?
