Hello World

Hello World

Naomi Katagaki keeps his head down. Kyoto in 2027 hums with tech he barely notices, and the girl two seats over, Ruri Ichigyou, reads through every break with a face that says stay away. He'd like to talk to her. He doesn't. Then a red aurora rips across the sky and vanishes like it was never there. A three legged crow. A guy in a hood who pulls back the fabric and shows Naomi his own face, ten years older, worn down by something he won't explain. He's here to stop a tragedy that hits Ruri three months after they start dating. So Naomi follows the script. Sits closer. Finds excuses to talk. Falls for her faster than he expected, which is exactly the problem. Because the older Naomi is hiding why he really came back, and every step that saves her might be pulling something else apart. Can you save someone without changing who they become?
