Four kids sneak into a graveyard on the last summer before middle school ends. A test of courage, that is all it was supposed to be. But before they even start, Haruka sees snow falling in the middle of summer. Blue snow. Then a man with silver hair appears out of nowhere, and just as fast he is gone. The same thing happens again at the graveyard. All four of them see it this time. They run home thinking they bumped into ghosts. They are wrong. Those people are Dragon Soldiers, an elite unit from a dimension called La'cryma, and they crossed over to grab the Dragon Torque, the one thing they believe can save their dying world. The joke is on everyone: the Torque is Haruka. She is twelve. She has no idea what any of this means, and now soldiers are chasing her through her own town. Her only way out is the silver-haired stranger, who says he is Yuu. Not the Yuu standing next to her. A Yuu from fifteen years down the line. So why does this older Yuu look like he has not slept in years, and what exactly happened to him that he refuses to talk about?
