A soul gets pulled off the reincarnation wheel because of some sin it can't even remember. No trial, no judgement. Just a station, an angel, and a deal: six months inside the body of Makoto Kobayashi, a fourteen year old who just killed himself. Find the sin. Then you're free. The soul wants no part of it. Except the body comes with a life attached. A mother keeping secrets, a father drifting somewhere far away, a brother who barely looks up. Classmates who laugh at nothing and say nothing that matters. Everyone wears a color, and the soul starts noticing how loud they all are. Too many colors, someone says, and no way to pick out your own. So the clock runs. Six months to name the sin, while Makoto's family quietly falls apart around a boy who is and isn't their son. And the soul keeps wondering: if the sin was so unforgivable, why does living this wrecked little life feel like the punishment?
