Tsubomi just moved to a new town to live with her grandma, and she's got a plan: stop being the shy girl, start fresh at Myoudou Middle School. Easier said than done. Then the dreams start. Every night, the same thing: a giant tree in the sky, a warrior called Cure Moonlight, and a defeat she can't explain. The dream stops being a dream the day two fairies, Chypre and Coffret, crash into her life with a woman chasing them. That woman summons a monster right there in the street, and Tsubomi transforms into Cure Blossom. Turns out the woman belongs to a crew that wants to drain every last flower of the heart and leave the whole world a dead desert. Erika, her tall, loud classmate, ends up fighting beside her, and together they swear to protect every last blossom. But what really happened to Cure Moonlight up in that tree? And can a girl who can barely speak up in class hold the line when the desert comes knocking?
