He is an eighth-grader with psychic powers and zero charisma, so he keeps his head down and tries not to stand out. Except his power is not a trick. It is a load, and he knows it. Then along comes Arataka Reigen, who calls himself a psychic and is nothing of the sort. He is a con man in a cheap suit, and he spots Mob as easy money. Now the kid spends his afternoons dragging fake spirits out of haunted apartments while Reigen pockets the fee. Mob barely scratches the surface of what he can do. If the lid ever comes off, if his feelings boil over all at once, something huge and unrecognizable wakes up inside him, and nobody can hold that back. So what happens when a boy who wants nothing more than to be ordinary turns out to be the most dangerous thing in the room?
