Illya finally gets a break. The cards are mostly sealed, Bazett and Chloe are actually on her side now, and summer vacation means a beach trip with friends and a joint birthday party. Sand, swimsuits, cake. Normal kid stuff for once. Then the eighth card shows up. It has not been found yet, which means the legendary weapons are not finished with them and the quiet days were just a pause. What starts as a getaway turns into another mess, the kind that follows Illya everywhere whether she wants it or not. So the girls are back in it: Illya, Miyu, Chloe, a new enemy nobody planned for, and a mystery waiting somewhere past the waves. Can they track down the last card and beat whatever is coming before summer ends?
