Summer break, and Illya finally gets to be a normal kid again. No wands, no cards, just her best friend Miyu and long days with nothing to do. Then Rin and Luvia show up and drag both girls off without much of an explanation. Turns out the Class Cards left a mess behind: wild mana is still leaking all over Fuyuki City, and someone at the Clock Tower wants it dealt with. So much for vacation. Illya and Miyu track the mess to its source and cast the spell to clean it up. That is when things go sideways. Illya splits clean in two, and the second Illya does not stick around to chat. She bolts straight into town, free as anything, while the original stands there wondering what just happened to her own body. Now there is a double running loose through Fuyuki, and nobody knows what she is, where she came from, or what she is after. And the girl she looks exactly like has to figure it out before something goes very wrong. Who is this stranger wearing Illya's face?
