Summer break ends and Class 3-E drags itself back to Kunugigaoka, still the worst class in school. Their assignment hasn't changed: kill the grinning octopus at the front of the room before graduation, or he blows up the planet. Easy enough, except Koro-sensei moves at Mach 20 and has no plans to stand still. Then the principal steps in. Gakuhou Asano turns the rest of the school into a pack of study-obsessed attack dogs to crush 3-E, and outside killers start circling for the bounty on their teacher's head. Suddenly the kids are dodging traps from both sides, and nobody is sure who is still on their team. Nagisa, quiet kid with a scary talent for this whole murder business, gets squeezed from every direction. Keep the grades up. Keep the world spinning. Keep his spot in the class while things at home fall apart. So who exactly is left standing when the bell rings?
