A rich office worker finds a strange message waiting for him. It asks if he wants to know what life is really about, if he wants to actually live it. He says yes, or maybe he never gets the chance to say anything at all, because the next moment he is somewhere else entirely. That place belongs to the Lord God, and it does not care about his comfort or his career. Here is the twist: the tests he faces are not ancient magic or random monsters. They are simulations of what humanity will run into out in deep space, the real problems of a future that has not happened yet. Future people built this place to push the present one forward. Traps everywhere. Death around every corner. And in the middle of it, strangers who will end up closer than family, people he will bleed beside and maybe die beside. The ones who last are supposed to come out as leaders. So who is really running the game? And what happens to the players who refuse to become what they are being shaped into?
