Two years after Anteiku burned, Tokyo belongs to the CCG. Ghouls have gone quiet, careful, but Aogiri Tree is still out there, and the raids never really stopped. So the brass try something new: cut a ghoul's hunting organ into human agents and send them out as weapons. Four of them. The Quinx Squad. Their mentor is Haise Sasaki, polite, capable, the first of his kind. Then his own head starts working against him. Voices he can't place. Memories that don't fit the man he is now.
