Hajime just wanted a quiet summer at his grandpa's place. Then he walks into a cafe called Ark, spots a waitress named Arashi, and that plan dies on the spot. She barely looks at him. Until she takes his hand, and something clicks. Now she won't leave him alone, and he's dodging some guy who claims her family sent him to drag her home by force. The two of them bolt out together, and just like that, she's living under the same roof. Here's the thing about Arashi. She's sixteen and she hasn't aged a day since a photo was taken decades ago, back during the war. She died in it. Touching Hajime is what lets her slip through time, and she wants his help saving people from the bombs that killed her. He says yes before she even finishes asking. Then he finds the old picture: Arashi standing next to another girl, Kaya. Same face. Same age. Kaya shows up out of nowhere, and she hasn't changed either. So Arashi isn't the only one who can cross time, and she sure isn't the only one keeping secrets. If two of them are walking around untouched by the years, how many more are out there, and what exactly do they want with Hajime?
