Ryousuke Hazuki has it bad. Every day he drifts into the same little flower shop just to steal a look at Rokka, the woman behind the counter. So he takes a part-time job there, figuring proximity will do the rest. Then he walks into her apartment and meets the other man in her life: a ghost. Her dead husband, Atsushi, still hanging around the place three years after he died. Here is the strange part. Nobody else has ever seen Atsushi. Hazuki does, right away, and the two of them take an instant dislike to each other. The ghost starts grabbing at Hazuki's body like it belongs to him, and Hazuki wants nothing more than to send the guy packing for good. Rokka has no idea any of this is happening. She just knows she cannot quite let go of the past, and the tension between a dead man and a living one keeps building. One refuses to leave. The other refuses to back off. And the woman in the middle might be the only one who can break the stalemate, if she ever finds out what is going on around her. How do you compete with a love that death could not end?
