At Seikyou Private Academy, strange things have always happened. So a paranormal club is no big surprise. The surprise is who runs it: Yuuko, a girl who died in the basement of the old building sixty years ago and never left. Nobody can see her, except two people. Teiichi, a freshman, runs into her by accident and suddenly she is always there, floating at his shoulder, teasing him, and Kirie, who shares Yuuko's bloodline and clearly wishes she did not. Here is the twist. Yuuko remembers nothing. Not her life, not the day she died, just a feeling that whatever happened back then is still dangerous to the people left behind. So the club starts digging, one school mystery at a time, and every answer drags up something worse. Teiichi wants to help her remember. Kirie wants to know what her family buried. Momoe tags along without a clue what she is standing next to. And the closer they get to the truth, the less certain Teiichi is that he wants Yuuko to find it. What exactly is waiting in that basement, and what happens to a ghost once she finally knows?
