Tenma has it bad for a classmate named Karasuma, and she can't get two words out whenever he's nearby. She's a normal second year with a hopeless crush and zero courage. Then she hears he's transferring schools in a year, which turns a slow burn into a ticking clock. Meanwhile Kenji Harima, the guy everyone crosses the street to avoid, is head over heels for Tenma herself. Fights? He wins those without breaking a sweat. Telling a girl how he feels? He completely falls apart. So the school bully spends his days scheming up ways to get close to the girl who barely notices him, while she chases the odd, quiet boy who never seems to catch on. Every attempt backfires. Every confession gets swallowed at the last second. Rumors fly, friends meddle, and the whole mess snowballs into daily chaos. Two people, both too scared to say the one thing that matters, running in circles around each other. With the clock running down on Karasuma's transfer, will either of them finally spit it out before it's too late?
