The captain's chair sits empty, and nobody in the Paris Flower Defense Force can agree on who belongs in it. The squad that once followed Ichiro Ogami now spends its days arguing over rank instead of watching the horizon. Bad timing. Something far older than any of them has stirred, a danger that was already ancient before the first of their steam-driven machines was ever built. Can a team this busy fighting over a title still hold the line when the real enemy shows up?
