It's the 1920s, and something has gone very wrong in the streets of the capital. Demons walk the city after dark, and ordinary weapons do nothing against them. The only people who can fight back are the ones carrying a huge amount of spiritual energy inside them. That's why the Flower Division exists. Young women, steam-powered machines, and a set of fighting techniques nobody else can copy. They are humanity's last real hope, and everyone knows it. Then comes the twist. These soldiers are also a theater troupe. By day they rehearse songs and dance numbers for packed houses, and when the demons show up, they climb into their machines and go to war. Two lives, one group of girls, and no room for either to fall apart. The brass keeps sending them into fights that get uglier every time, and the stage lights are still expected to come on. Can a troupe hold both jobs at once, or will one of them be the thing that finally breaks?
