Mire just flew back to Tokyo and her boss took credit for everything she did. Sora is twenty-two and about to graduate, and she no longer knows if she wants to stand in front of a classroom. Reika is twenty, works part time at an okonomiyaki place in Hiroshima, draws when she can and gets by on odd jobs. Strangers, different cities, nothing in common. Then a magic gem pulls the three of them together. Not a metaphor, an actual gem, and it drags them back to the cartoon they all watched as kids: Magical Doremi. Three grown women, one old TV show, and suddenly they are comparing notes on what that witch meant to them back then. The gem did not bring them together for nostalgia. Each one is stuck in a life that stopped fitting. Mire keeps quiet and takes it, Sora freezes every time someone asks about her future, Reika has talent and no money to do anything with it. They will have to figure out what they actually want and whether they are brave enough to say it out loud. What happens when the childhood show you loved turns out to be the only thing still telling you the truth?
