Battle Doll Angelic Layer

Kidou Tenshi Angelic Layer · 機動天使エンジェリックレイヤー
ComedyDramaSci-Fi2001BonesRating 7,313+HD

A twelve year old girl steps off the train in Tokyo with nothing but a suitcase and a strange little toy she picked up along the way. Within days Misaki is standing in a tournament hall, hands sweating over a console, controlling a doll the size of her palm. Angelic Layer is simple: you build an angel, you move it with your mind, you fight. Except nobody moves an angel like she does. Not on her first try, not on her tenth. People notice. Coaches, rivals, a scientist who watches from the shadows with too much interest. Misaki just wanted to make friends and win a few matches with Hikaru, her angel. Now the national champions are calling her out by name, and every fight pulls her closer to something nobody will explain to a kid. Does raw talent make you a champion, or does it just paint a bigger target on your back?
