GYO: Tokyo Fish Attack!

GYO: Tokyo Fish Attack!

Kaori figures a weekend in Okinawa means sun, sand, and maybe a little time away from her fiancé Tadashi. Instead the air starts to stink. Something dead is washing up on the beach, and it is not staying put. Fish. Walking. On thin metal legs that clack against the pavement while the rot rolls off them in waves. Kaori and her friends, loud Erika and quiet Aki, barely get out of the first swarm alive. Then the phone call to Tokyo cuts off mid sentence. Tadashi's voice, a crash, and nothing. Kaori leaves her friends behind in Okinawa and heads straight into the city, convinced she can still reach him. What she does not know yet is that the legs are only half the problem. Somewhere behind the stench there is a sickness, and someone built it on purpose. As a weapon. The streets of Tokyo fill with things that used to swim. Kaori keeps moving, keeps looking for one face in the crowd, while Erika and Aki fight their own fight far to the south. And all around her the world keeps turning exactly the way it always did, just with the smell of death hanging over everything. Can she find Tadashi before the city stops pretending nothing has changed?
