A name whispered in hospital corridors. Kuroo Hazama cuts people open without a license, and somehow he's the best surgeon alive. His assistant Pinoko stands beside him through every impossible operation. The price? Enough to empty your bank account and then some. People call him greedy. Heartless. He doesn't argue, he just sends the bill. Then a case lands on his table that no ordinary doctor will touch. Some strange illness, some body falling apart in ways textbooks never described. Other surgeons walk away. Black Jack doesn't. He breaks laws, cuts corners, puts his own neck on the line, because the Hippocratic oath matters more to him than any courtroom ever could. So what is he really: a mercenary who happens to own a scalpel, or the only doctor left who still means what he swore?
