A respected scientist named Zorndyke once stood at the top of his field. Now he lives somewhere beneath the waves, surrounded by things he built with his own hands. Fish that think. Creatures that hunt. All of them born to wipe humans off the map. He is not hiding. He is waiting. The oceans rise, coastal cities go quiet, and something in the water starts dragging ships down. That is when the Blue fleet gets its orders: find Zorndyke and stop him. Blue Submarine No. 6 is part of that fleet, a crew sent into deep water against an enemy who knows the sea better than they ever will. Zorndyke does not see himself as a monster. He thinks he is doing the planet a favor. The fights are ugly. Torpedoes, flooded corridors, things with teeth that should not exist. And the closer the crew gets to him, the less the mission feels like a simple hunt. Can you really call a man insane when half the world he wants gone has already drowned?
