Nobuaki Kanazawa transfers to a new high school and keeps everyone at arm's length. No friends, no attachments. His classmates just think he is cold. Then a sports festival forces them into teams, and for a moment he starts to open up. That is when the email arrives. A message from someone calling himself the King, with orders the whole class has to follow. Twenty four hours to obey. Refuse, quit early, or drag your feet, and there is a punishment. The others laugh it off as a prank. Nobuaki does not laugh. He has played this game before, at his old school, and he watched people around him die. He tries to warn them, but nobody listens until the first body drops. Now the class is trapped with no way out, and every new order splits them further. Nobuaki can look out for himself, the way he survived last time, or he can try to do what he failed to do before and keep these kids alive. Which one will he choose when the next email comes?
