Maika Sakuranomiya just wants to study abroad, and to do that she needs a part time job. There is one small problem. Every time she smiles, her face twists into something that scares the hell out of interviewers, so rejection letters keep piling up. Then she walks into Café Stile, where the waitresses play characters for the customers, and the manager Dino takes one look at her and hires her on the spot. Not as the sweet type. As the sadist. She is clumsy, she is cheerful, and now she has to insult paying customers with a straight face. Somehow it works, partly because two of the regulars are very much into that. Beside her, Kaho plays the tsundere and Mafuyu plays the little sister, each one committing hard to the bit. Maika settles in, weaponizing the exact glare that once cost her every other job. But what happens when a girl who only ever wanted to be nice discovers she is really, really good at being cruel?
