Eikichi Onizuka is 22, a former bike gang leader who once terrorized Shonan, and still a virgin. His dream job? The greatest high school teacher in Japan. Not for any noble reason. He just figures that when he is old and gray, a sweet teenage wife will be waiting for him. So he talks his way into Holy Forest Academy, a prestigious school, and gets handed Class 3-4. He also suplexes the vice principal on the way in. That should tell you plenty. Here is the catch. Class 3-4 has chewed up every homeroom teacher before him. The students run psychological warfare until the adults crack and quit. Bullying, suicide attempts, harassment: this is their daily routine, and they aim it straight at the new guy. Onizuka does not quit. He shows up, he yells, he leaps off a building to grab a kid mid fall. His methods are illegal, ridiculous, and weirdly effective, and the class slowly starts to wonder if school might actually be fun. But can a guy who became a teacher for all the wrong reasons really save a room full of kids who trust no one?
