At the family restaurant Wagnaria, Souta Takanashi keeps his head down and his eyes on the tiny, energetic Poplar. He has a soft spot for anything small. He also has his hands full with Mahiru Inami, a waitress who throws punches at every man who gets close. Yachiyo wanders the floor with a katana at her hip, feeding sweets to the manager Kyouko, who does as little as possible. Jun Sato runs the kitchen. Aoi Yamada dodges work and dreams about her parents. Nobody is normal here, and that is the point. Then the door swings open and the strangeness gets worse. Hyougo Otoo's missing wife Haruna turns up, a woman who can get lost inside a sewer and stay lost for days. Kirio Yamada, Aoi's older brother, walks in and takes Mahiru's hardest punch without blinking, which makes no sense to anyone. Twins Youhei and Mitsuki Mashiba, both juniors of Kyouko, cannot stand each other. Meanwhile Som Hiromi, the quiet one who knows too much, just watches it all. So the plates keep coming, the punches keep flying, and feelings nobody asked for start to surface. Can a restaurant this chaotic survive its own staff?
