Episode 2 · Yozakura Quartet

Yozakura Quartet

Sakurashin looks like any other small town, except for the seven magic trees holding a barrier around it and the youkai who live there right alongside regular people. Keeping that arrangement from falling apart is the job of the Hizumi Life Counseling Office, which handles everything from daycare visits to much messier problems. The director is Akina, a teenager whose family power, tuning, can send a violent youkai back to its own world for good. His crew: Hime, sixteen years old and already the town's mayor, Ao, who announces the news and reads minds on the side, and Kotoha, half youkai, who summons whatever she needs by simply saying its name out loud. Akina has no superpower of his own. He's just the guy standing in the middle of three super girls, which counts for something too. Then the trouble starts. Demonic dogs prowl the streets, supernatural threats keep crawling out of nowhere, and newcomers move in with their own secrets. Chasing down whoever dares to disturb the quiet becomes a full time job, and the balance between two worlds wobbles a little more with every incident. Can four kids and their friends really hold a whole city together when the peace was fragile to begin with?
