A monk named Myoue could draw anything into existence. His wife Koto was a black rabbit wearing a human shape, and their three kids, Yakushimaru, Kurama and Yase, grew up surrounded by whatever their father's pencil decided to make real. Then the local high priest got fed up with the chaos those drawings caused and demanded a fix, so the whole family slipped away into a world Myoue invented himself: the Looking Glass City. One day Myoue and Koto simply vanished. Yakushimaru took his father's name and his duties, and the three siblings have been holding the city together ever since. Then a girl falls out of the sky. Her name is Koto too, she swings a hammer big enough to flatten a street, and she has two loud familiars trailing after her. She says she is hunting for an older Myoue and Koto. Nobody in the city is safe once she starts swinging. Koto and her familiars are stuck somewhere that looks like Kyoto, except it belongs to yokai and has nothing to do with the real place. Every step of her search wrecks another district, and she keeps insisting she just wants to go home. Here is the strange part: as the eldest of the three, she seems to have some kind of link to this paper city. What exactly did Myoue leave behind when he disappeared?
