Jin Mazama can't stand animals. Every fluffy tail and twitching ear at Seton Academy makes his skin crawl, and he'd bolt if not for Hitomi, the one other human in school and the girl he's quietly crazy about. So he stays, keeps his head down, and studies up on animal behavior just to survive the place. Then Ranka Ookami corners him. A tiny wolf with no pack and zero friends, she's decided Jin is exactly the recruit she needs. He says no. She doesn't hear it. Now there's a cooking club, a koala who won't stop grinning, a sloth who moves like she's underwater, and a cat with an attitude problem. Jin just wanted a quiet life near Hitomi. Instead he's neck-deep in a pack he never asked for. Can a guy who hates animals really end up running with them?
