Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon · 小林さんちのメイドラゴン
Slice of LifeSupernatural2017Kyoto AnimationRating 7,913+HD

Kobayashi is a programmer who drinks alone after work. Her only real friend is a coworker named Takiya. One night, drunk in the mountains, she finds a wounded dragon and tells it, half joking, that it can live with her. The next morning the doorbell rings. On the balcony waits a dragon's head, and it turns into a girl in a maid uniform named Tooru, ready to move in and serve her. Tooru keeps the apartment spotless, but her cleaning methods send Kobayashi running for cover. Then a second dragon shows up. Kanna came to drag the runaway home, got tired of trying, and just stayed. Word spreads fast. Other dragons start dropping by, and some even settle in: one buries himself in anime, another answers a young witch's call, a third ends up in Kobayashi's own office. Now Kobayashi shares her tiny place with beings who could flatten the city, and Tooru's reasons for coming to Earth turn out to be messier than she lets on. Kobayashi just wanted a quiet life. So who exactly is paying rent in this arrangement?
