My-Otome
Arika Yumemiya has been on the road a long time, chasing one thing: a way into Garderobe Academy. This is where Otome are made, girls who stay virgins, bond with a HiME, and turn into living weapons. One girl can end a war. That's the job. Arika also wants to find her mother, a Meister Otome, the highest rank there is. Bodyguard to a ruler. Super weapon for a nation. Then she gets in. Classes, drills, rivalries, and two friends who change everything: Nina Wáng, a top student with a sharp tongue, and Mashiro, the princess of Windbloom herself. For a while it almost looks like normal school life. It isn't. Because the road to becoming an Otome runs through ugly politics and personal cost, and something strange sits in Arika's own past. Every step forward seems to demand a sacrifice. Can she really reach her goal without losing the people standing next to her?
