Aya Asagiri has a laptop and a wish to stop existing. At school they shove her around, at home her older brother Kaname hits her because their father's expectations have to land on someone. So she hides online. One night a page loads on its own: Magical Girl Site, with a letter from whoever made it. A wand is coming, and a beautiful world of dreams is waiting for her. One condition attached. She laughs it off. Then the next morning there's a gun in her shoe locker. On the way home the girls who make her life hell corner her again, and she pulls the trigger without thinking. They don't fall down. They vanish and reappear on the railroad tracks, and the train does the rest. Now she has blood on her hands and no idea what she agreed to. Then Tsuyuno Yatsumura steps in, a classmate who can freeze time, and the two of them start hunting for answers about the site and about The Tempest, the disaster heading their way. Other magical girls are out there too, some fighting beside them, some not. How many wands does this site hand out, and what does it actually want back?
