Hellsing
A vampire has been bleeding a small English village dry, turning the locals into ghouls one by one. Hellsing gets the call. Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing runs the whole operation, and she sends her worst nightmare to clean it up: Alucard, a vampire so old and so dangerous that even his own side keeps a leash on him. He walks in with one handgun and starts tearing the place apart. Then a young police officer named Seras Victoria stumbles into the middle of it and takes a hit she will not walk off. Alucard kneels over her and offers a deal. Die right here as a human, or get up as something else. She picks the second option. Now she is on Hellsing's payroll, learning to fight monsters while her own reflection is gone and her old life is over. There are worse things out there than the ghouls, and some of them are vampires who want their own kind dead. Seras has to figure out how to be a monster fast, because the front lines are no place for someone still holding on to being human. How long can she keep that grip before it slips?
