Akira Fudou cries at the drop of a hat. His classmates call him a crybaby, and they are not wrong. He lives with relatives while his parents are far away, and the one person he always runs to rescue is Miki, a sprinter so fast the other kids nicknamed her Witch. Then one afternoon he gets into a brawl with punks messing with Miki, and his old friend Ryou Asuka shows up out of nowhere to help. Ryou doesn't stick around for thanks. He drags Akira to a party called Sabbath and explains on the way that demons are waking up and people keep vanishing. The party turns into a slaughter. Bodies twist into monsters, blood everywhere, and Akira throws himself in to save Ryou. Something inside him grabs back: a demon named Amon. Akira walks out with a devil's body and the same soft heart. Ryou and Akira team up to hunt the things that prey on humans, but the power inside Akira has its own appetite, and it is always hungry. How long can a crybaby hold a devil on a leash?
