Hiro loves baseball more than anything, except maybe dirty magazines. A hotshot pitcher in middle school, until his elbow gave out. The doctors called it a glass elbow, and one more hard throw could wreck it for good. So he picks a high school with no baseball team at all. Problem solved, right? His childhood friend Hikari goes somewhere else, where Hideo, a pitching ace, waits for him to come back. Both of them want the old Hiro back. Instead he joins the soccer team, which is where Haruka stumbles into his life. Clumsy, sweet, and the daughter of his father's boss, she runs the school's unofficial baseball club. Then the soccer guys decide to humiliate the baseball kids in a friendly match. It almost works too, until Hiro watches their smug faces and something in him snaps. He walks over to the other dugout and picks up a ball. Can a guy with a busted elbow really stay away from the thing he loves most?
