They lost to Suzuridani Academy, and that stung. So the girls from Keishin Academy go back to the gym and grind. Tomoka, Maho, Airi, Hinata and Saki, five elementary schoolers with scraped knees and stubborn faces, push themselves harder every single day. Subaru stays on as their coach, blowing his whistle, fixing their footwork, watching them grow. Then fifth graders show up. New rivals, and some of them might be better than Subaru's team. Stronger, taller, faster. Friends too, maybe, the kind you make right before you have to beat them on the court. Now the girls have to figure out what they actually are. Not just players. People. Can they hold together when the other team is bigger and the score is close, and what happens if they can't?
