The Grail vanished from Fuyuki after the Third Holy Grail War, and nobody could say where it went. Years pass. Then the Yggdmillennia clan steps into the open, announces it holds the relic, and walks out of the Mage's Association. The Association sends fifty of its best to take it back. Only one comes home alive, and he is not a victor. He is a message. So the rules change. Seven masters and seven servants on each side, Black against Red: the family of magi versus hired killers sent to reclaim what was stolen. Fourteen pairs, one city called Trifas, and a Grail that decides it wants a witness. It summons a Ruler to watch the whole thing unfold. Nobody asked for a referee.
