Sung Jin-Woo used to be the weakest hunter alive. Now he commands a shadow army, and every dungeon he walks out of makes people ask questions he can't answer. He keeps his head down. It doesn't work. Low-ranked hunters die around him while he walks away, and the guilds start circling, watching, wondering what he really is. Then a hunter who vanished ten years ago comes back with a warning about something catastrophic on the way. At the same time, the ants on Jeju Island, the ones everybody already feared, start growing wings. Korea's Hunter Association calls in S-rank hunters from Japan for one final raid. Jin-Woo has his own reason to fight: three items hidden in the Demon Castle, the only way to make the Elixir of Life and cure his mother. That's the goal. Nothing gets to stand in front of it. But the island has chewed up stronger hunters than him. If the raid goes wrong, if the swarm gets loose, does he stay focused on his mother, or does he step in?
