Episode 7 · Blade

Blade

A vampire attacked his mother while she was still pregnant. That night left Eric Brooks with something worse than a scar: he came out half human, half vampire, able to walk in daylight and drink blood only when he chooses. They call him Blade. Japan is supposed to be a mission, one more hunt in a long list of hunts. Then he picks up the trail of Deacon Frost, the man who bit his mother and never looked back. Except Frost is not hiding. He is building something. A group called Existence has been gathering vampires and rebuilding them into something new, and every one of them carries his fingerprints. They do not fight like the old ones. They do not die like them either. Blade cuts through their front lines, and the front lines keep growing back. A hunter chasing the man who made him, a man quietly making an army out of the dead. Somewhere in the middle of it, Blade has to decide how much of his mother's killer is also his own maker. And what happens when the thing you were born from refuses to stay in the past?
