Eleven years of training with a mysterious woman named Karen, and Teppei finally gets to see his big brother Kotaro at a science conference. Then the room goes silent. A woman called Aramis wipes out everyone in it and takes Kotaro. Just like that, the reunion is off. On the road to get him back, Teppei finds a wrecked mechanical horse. His blood brings it back to life. B't X is the name, and now the kid has backup against the Machine Empire, a force nobody around him seems to understand. Kotaro is somewhere inside that empire, and Teppei is riding straight at it. But blood awakened the horse, and blood is what it wants back. What exactly did Teppei wake up?
