Episode 1 · Air

Air

Yukito travels from town to town with a puppet on his hands, doing shows for pocket change. His real goal is stranger: a winged girl bound to the sky centuries ago, a story his mother told him as a kid. He never planned to stay anywhere for long. Then he meets Misuzu. She is odd, cheerful, and asks him to live with her. Just like that, the road stops. He settles into a quiet town, gets to know the neighbors, and starts helping them with their troubles. His search waits. The longer he stays, the harder it gets to leave, and the more Misuzu matters to him. So what happens when the girl he has been chasing all this time turns out to be closer than he ever imagined?
